ROBERT HURLEY DAVIS (Age 62)

On Tuesday, July 17, 2018, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Sandra Glasser; loving father of Alycia Kiernan, Davis Glasser, and Rachel Glasser; proud grandfather of Cpl. Austin J Boland; son of Margaret Davis; brother of William Davis and Leslie Chappell. Predeceased by his brother Michael Davis. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. Bobby was not one for ceremony, so please join us in celebrating his life on Saturday, July 21 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Looney’s in Maple Lawn (8180 Maple Lawn Blvd. Fulton, MD). Interment at St. Mark’s in Vienna, VA will be private. Robert Joseph  “Bob” Johnson, Jr. (Age 76) 

Monday, July 16, 2018, of Silver Spring, MD. Born on July 10, 1942 a man who could do magical things was born. His talents began early with his ability to turn ordinary pieces of wood into objects of beauty. His reputation became known throughout the land and soon Presidents, Princes and Sheiks began to demand his furniture to adorn their homes and offices. He could wield a wood clamp like no other. Of course he was exceptionally handsome, just as every hero should be. Oh, how the ladies would swoon when Bob walked into the room. That was a magical power, too. After breaking many hearts he found love in his fair maiden, Emily, his wife of over 30 years. With Emily, Bob uncovered another magical power when he became the leader of a wild pack of Bichons. He howled with them as he taught them to sing and to the astonishment of those who witnessed it, he brought one pup back to life after a harrowing experience. Bob lived the life he wanted unapologetically and with no regrets, as only a hero could do. He left this world in a blaze of glory on July 16th, 2018. There would be no fading out for this guy. In addition to his wife, he leaves behind his daughters Brooke Villalba and Tanna Mayo, both of whom will greatly miss his jokes and laughter. His grandchildren, Sophia, Elena and George are looking forward to the day they can see their “Poppy” in heaven and hear about all the crazy shenanigans he has been up to with his new and improved heavenly body. There are many friends and family who are too numerous to name, but they all know the raucous that Bob is already causing up there with the big guy. We will miss you, Bob. Give ‘em heck!! Albert Fenwick Fleury, Jr., M.D.

On Friday, July 13, 2018, Albert Fenwick Fleury, Jr., M.D. of Chevy Chase, MD. Beloved husband of Marianne (Mimi) Loferski Fleury; devoted father of Albert F., III (Cara), Joseph J. (Catharine), Chistopher M. (Julia). Also survived by his mother Alice Flynn Fleury, five grandchildren Jack, William, Alida, Joseph Jr. and Lily and six brothers, sisters and their spouses and children.

Family will receive friends at the Church of the Little Flower, 5607 Massachusetts Ave., Bethesda, MD on Tuesday, July 17, 2018, from 5 to 7 PM and where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 18 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow a St. Aloysius Cemetery, Leonardtown, MD. William A. Schulz (Age 93)

On Friday, July 13, 2018, of Kensington, MD.  Beloved husband for 41 years of the late Rita Miller Schulz; survived by his wife of 21 years Gertrude Pekar Schulz; his daughter Catherine Rita Schulz Bogus and son-in-law John D. Kenneth John Durst (Age 47)

On Wednesday, July 11, 2018, of Rockville, MD.  Beloved husband of Kerry Grimberg Durst; loving father of Charles and Margaret Durst; son of Ernest and Miriam Durst; brother of Linda Iannacone, Gary, Robert and the late Richard Durst; son-in-law of Patricia and John Grimberg.
